Peponi Safaris
Peponi means paradise in Kiswahili* — and for us, it’s not a marketing phrase. It’s a feeling.
Born in Kenya and now based in Western Australia, Peponi Safaris was created by a father-and-son team with deep roots in East Africa and a clear purpose: to share the magic of the Kenyan national parks in a way that is authentic, ethical and deeply personal and supports the maasai lodge owners.
We run small, refined safari journeys for travellers who want more than a checklist, more time, more connection, more understanding of the land, its wildlife and the people who protect it.

What Makes Peponi Different
Boutique by design
With a maximum of 14 guests per departure and no more than 6 guests per vehicle, our safaris remain intimate, flexible and unhurried.

Our Maasai guides know the Mara not from maps, but from lived experience; reading the land, the light and the movement of wildlife with extraordinary intuition. Relationships are very strong and every safari benefits the traditional owners that have stewarded the land for thousands of years.
